| Education Laurie Doctor has her B.A. in psychology and religion from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She studied French poetry and literature at Sorbonne University in Paris and did graduate work in Education at the University of California at Berkeley. Laurie is on the faculty in the Visual Arts Department at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, where she teaches calligraphy, writing, painting, book arts, and design. Through the education department at Naropa she has taught teachers from all over the world. She has worked as a painter, calligrapher, designer, and book artist for the past 20 years. Her studio is in a wildlife reserve outside Louisville, KY |
